Brunch is easily my favorite meal on any given weekend. It’s early enough to eat a juicy burger and late enough to over indulge in libations – where can you go wrong? We stumbled across The Lawrence this past Sunday and what a great discovery. The reviews recommended the burger, so I obliged. In no way did I need that, but how could I resist? Look at it.
I got The Larry Burger and boyfriend got the Steak & Eggs. I had them to hold the caramelized onions (because look at how many onions are in that cup. I like onions, but not that many) and the Larry Sauce (because I’m picky). I wasn’t a fan of the Larry Sauce – it reminded me of Thousand Island – not my jam. But aside from that, loved it!
The steak was so tender and those grits might be the best grits I’ve ever tasted that weren’t apart of a shrimp and grits entree.
If you’re in the Atlanta area and a foodie like me, you should definitely check this place out. Everything on their menu sounds delicious. I loved the staff and it was a dope ambiance. It took me back to the brunches in New York.
Cheers to brunch!
